Put Your Feet on Solid Ground

What are you standing on today? On an earthly things or on a heavenly things? Many things in this world can shift and change, and when we stand on them, we often will end up falling off of them, wondering what happened. If we stand on the rock of Christ and His word, we won’t ever fall down. Thank God for His graciousness and kindness in the moments we do stand on the earthly things. He uses these moments to teach us and draw us back to Him. We can be confident God is always teachings us to lean more onto Him and less onto the things of this world. Today, look to Jesus, the author and perfector of your faith, and trust the process of growth and learning to lean on Him. Be patient with yourself as you learn to lean on Him, for consider how patient your Father is with you!

“Fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith” Hebrews 12:2

What Lens Are You Viewing Your life Through Today?

All we have is this moment. Don’t look backward or to the right or to the left. Look forward to the face of Jesus. God has an encounter for us each day, if only we would look for it. Lay down the cares of the day and ask Daddy God for a new encounter today. Little in this world is certain, but God’s goodness and faithfulness are always certain. Watch out for His goodness and faithfulness today instead of looking around for what might go wrong. When we view our lives as a glass half empty, we see life through a lens of negativity. When we view our lives as a glass half full, we see life through a lens of possibilities. What lens are you wearing today?
